Faces from Thailand

“The face is a picture of the mind with the eyes as its interpreter.”
― Cicer

On my recent trip to Thailand, I was intrigued by the many new things I experienced and saw. But most of all, I was intrigued by the people. So simple, ever-smiling, innocent and always welcoming. It was almost as if all the citizens of the country have taken it upon themselves to be hospitable to the tourists.
Captured a few of these most intriguing faces, mostly from the four major hill tribes that we met in Chiang Rai.

Aren’t they beautiful?

  1. They are, indeed! But I loved the first, third and the last but one the best. The baby is dreamy, the old woman looks wise and weathered, the young girl a little apprehensive of what lies in store. Superlative clicks, Swati.

  2. Hello Swati, I liked your blog and nominated you for a blogger award called liebster Award, (you might have nominated by others as well). The award works like a chain letter where bloggers answer 10 questions abt themselves and nominate 10 more bloggers to answer a new set of 10 questions. you can check the process to complete this chain at below link
