Women, and their exclusive prerogative

These gems have life in them:  their colors speak, say what words fail of.  ~George Eliot

Women and jewelry go hand in hand, literally. A piece of jewel has many roles to play in a woman’s life – It can be an object that adorns her beauty, or an object that establishes her persona.

There’s something very erotic about the sound of clinking bangles in the dead of silence. And something very reassuring when it plays as the background score in the house, through the day.

Together, they make music. An anklet separated from its pair tells a story.

An epitome of love, a sign of romance, a religious belief, a savior from the evil – a ring in the finger is a tell-tale of the state of mind, or heart.

Sweet-nothings or a drop of elegance, reminder of womanhood or a completion of attire. Earrings are a mystery, always hinting at something not easily seen.

A piece of jewelry can be a sign of sensuality, an alluring widget, an endearing entity.

It can spell passion, on the verge of culminating into something higher. It can spell deprivation, on the verge of culminating into desolation.

It can define the pain of waiting for the one who her heart misses, or the relief of breaking out of her boundaries.

It can signify her coming off as someone stronger than her own will, or someone softer than her own feelings.

A piece of jewelry can help decipher a thousand secrets. Or can create an undying mystery around  her.
That, which you can’t snatch away. That, which only she can create.
